FULTON COUNTY ELECTIONS BOARD MEETS: The Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections is holding a special meeting as voting winds down in Georgia. Fulton County is the state’s most-populous county, and the board is meeting to discuss the runoff election, approve a 2021 meeting schedule, and take public comment. Polls in Georgia begin to close at 7:00 pm, though if you are in line by then, you are allowed to cast your ballot. More than 3 million people voted by mail or in-person at early voting locations, which Gabriel Sterling, Georgia’s voting system implementation manager, called ‘a record turnout for a runoff.’
