BIDEN SPEAKS AS TRUMP LEAD SHRINKS IN PA, GA: Former Vice President Joe Biden is speaking now at The Queen, a theater in Wilmington, Delaware, as the world awaits projections in key battleground states, including Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Nevada Arizona, any of which could put Biden over the top in Electoral College vote count and win him the election. Hundreds of thousands of ballots remain to be counted in Pennsylvania, where Biden is trailing by just about 100,000 votes now, having shrunk Trump’s lead as mail-in ballots have been added to the commonwealth’s total. In Georgia, Biden is within 13,000 votes of Trump’s total in Georgia, where officials say that 47,000 ballots remain to be counted.
As the Trump campaign carries on their full-on assault in the courts on ballot counts in key states as his re-election prospects fade, Biden and his allies have painted a more hopefully picture, urging patience and diligence in counting every legitimate ballot. ‘Every vote must be counted. Nobody is going to take our democracy away from us,’ Biden said yesterday. Biden has already earned more votes than any presidential candidate in American history.
