TRUMP CAMPAIGN LIES ABOUT PENNSYLVANIA: The Trump campaign is falsely claiming victory in the key swing state of Pennsylvania with about one million legitimately cast ballots still uncounted. Rudy Giuliani, Eric Trump, and other campaign officials are holding a briefing in Philadelphia. Earlier today, Pres. Trump tweeted ‘they are finding Biden votes all over the place.’ This is false. Votes are not being found, they are merely being counted. More than 100 million people voted before Election Day this year, mostly by mail. Between opening millions of envelopes, verifying signatures, and hand tallying, it takes a lot longer to count mail votes. The process of counting the votes has been transparent, with monitors from both parties watching for irregularities. The Trump campaign is apparently looking to halt the vote count in the battleground state as Trump remains ahead at this time, though only 64% of the votes have been reported. The campaign has also filed a suit to stop the counting of legitimately cast ballots in Michigan while Trump is still in the lead there.
